Her studies focus on International Sustainable Development, particularly the inclusion of environmental and human rights considerations in business and corporate practice and the law. A fluent Spanish speaker, she received her B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Virginia, and became interested in Global Sustainable Development during her senior year there. Megan considers herself a native Washingtonian, and grew up just outside D.C. in Woodbridge, VA. While at the CHRE she assisted in the production of the guidebook Human Rights and Fracking: Applying the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to Hydraulic Fracturing.
