The Center for Human Rights and Environment along with Earthworks, presented an Amicus Brief today to the Permanent People’s Forum, session on the Human Rights Impacts of Fracking. The Amicus Brief Focuses on the human rights impacts of oil and gas sector emissions as have been documented by recent field work utilizing a FLIR technology camera which registers invisible toxic emissions due to fugitive leaks as well as intentional leaks (due to outdated technology use) in conventional and non-conventional oil production.
