The OECD offers individuals, communities and civil society organizations the opportunity to present complaints (called Specific Instances) to country governments that are members of the OECD when alleged violations occur by corporations to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. National governments that are members of the OECD establish National Contact Points to receive, review and engage with corporations on mediation efforts regarding complaints.

CEDHA has presented 5 OECD Specific Instances to NCPs around the world in order to resolve conflicts, bring visibility to the OECD Guidelines, and to strengthen the NCP forum. CEDHA is also member of OECD Watch, which is a network of civil society organizations that have come together to use and promote the OECD Guidelines framework.
