Lara is completing her B.A. at McGill University with a Joint Honours major in History and International Development, and minors in the Environment and Social Entrepreneurship. She is passionate about sustainable development, climate change advocacy, and environmental justice. She previously worked with environmental organizations in various capacities, including climate research, writing for publications, and public/educational programming. At CHRE, Lara serves as Research Intern focusing on an upcoming climate publication, contributes to press releases, and participates in a committee on engaging youth in climate advocacy. She is also helping identify fast climate mitigation actions to help keep our planet to 1.5 degrees Celsius of warming.
