Lian is studying at McGill University, where she is completing a Bachelor of Arts in Honors International Development Studies with a minor in East Asian Language and Literature. Through her studies, she has gained an interest in sustainable development and promoting environmental climate action. She is interning at CHRE this summer assisting with climate research on the impacts of short lived climate pollutants such as methane. She also helps CHRE to research and draft media releases and various other CHRE publications. Lian also is engaged in developing strategies to engage youth to take action against climate change.
