Do you want to see how Barrick is impacting glaciers at its Pascua Lama and Veladero projects?
Here’s a fantastic little video app viewable in Google Earth. Follow the simple instructions and you’ll be able to see where Barrick Gold is destroying glaciers in the Central Andes of Argentina and Chile;
1. Download the two files below (they’re small)

tour video: Mining and Glacier Tour VIDEO.kmz
2. Open Google Earth
3. From the menu bar, FIRST open the tour polygons: Glaciers and Mining Tour Polygons.kmz
(when you’ve executed the open command you should see a bunch of place markers on your screen; if you don’t make sure the folder you’ve just downloaded is checked in the left column)
4. Now execute the VIDEO file.
