Alejandro Vera was born in the province of San Juan. He is a student in the last year ofthe race Advocacy in the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). He has participated in courses, seminars and workshops related to environmental law,as well as a teaching assistantships and research assistantships. In 2010 he received ascholarship by the Center for Legal and Social Research (CIJS) to address the problem of access to justice in the failure to enforce environmental impact assessment. Alejandro joined the Legal Clinic in 2007 CEDHA. In this program, worked in various legal and administrative cases. He organized the legislative area of the Clinic, from which he participated and lobbied various national and provincial legislative processes.Currently, Alexander is assistant coordination of the Mining, Environment and HumanRights Program. It aims to reduce the impacts of unsustainable mining, and creating effective channels of access to justice for communities affected by mining activity inArgentina and the region.
