Jorge Daniel Taillant, Executive Director of the Center for Human Rights and Environment (CHRE) and author of the recently published book Meltdown: The Earth Without Glaciers, joins Alice Hill of the Council on Foreign Relations, and recent author of The Fight for Climate After COVID-19, to discuss how the global pandemic and how we are reacting to it can help us devise more effective strategies to tackle climate change. Both Taillant and Hill attended COP26 in Glasgow, and also report on how global leaders are taking new actions, such as tackling methane emissions reductions, to accelerate our response to a deepening climate crisis.
