Romina Picolotti, President and Founder of CEDHA, is an Argentine by birth who has devoted her life to the protection of victims of environmental degradation, to the protection the planet and towards a more sustainable society more respectful of human rights.
Her Roots and Education
Born in Cordoba Argentina in 1970, she studied law in her provincial birthplace, where she focussed her legal interests on human rights advocacy. Shortly after graduating with honors from the National University at Cordoba, she won a national litigation competition sponsored by the US Information Agency which prized her with a trip the United States to visit the US judicial system. During that visit, she was hired by the Organization of American States (OAS) to work for the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) where she began her long career devoted to the protection of human rights and to the promotion public interest.
